We will start using Google Classroom to get assignments and to turn in assignments. I would like to save paper and ink. Please READ all of the directions and follow them as written.

Join a class using the class code. You only use the class code once to join the class. You don’t need to re-use the class code again. Whenever you want to sign in to Classroom to get to a class or any assignments, use your Google Apps for Education account details.

How to turn in an assignment in Google Classroom
Web browser
- Sign in to Classroom at classroom.google.com.
- Click the class and click the assignment you want to turn in.The status of the assignment is Not done.
Note: You can also access your assignments on the Assignments page or on the class calendar. - If your teacher attached a Google form, click the form, and answer the question. Click Turn In.If the form is the only work on the assignment, your assignment is automatically marked as done. If there is other work to be done on the assignment, click Open assignment.
- If your teacher attached a Google Drive item, click the thumbnail of the item to open and review it.
- (Optional) To attach material from your computer, click Add.
- Click Google Drive or Upload file.
- Select the file and click Add.
- (Optional) To attach a link:
- Click Add.
- Select Link.
- Enter the link and click Add Link.
- (Optional) To create a new Drive item, click Add. Under Create, click the file type.
- (Optional) To remove an attachment, click X next to it.
- (Optional) To add a private comment to your teacher, enter it in the box and click Post.
- Click Turn In.
- Click Turn In again to confirm.The status of the assignment changes to Done.
Tip: If you have the assignment open in Google Docs, you can simply click Turn in in the top corner. You’ll have the option to add a private message to your teacher as well, if needed.
